Welcome back to the final segment of the Mind-Body-Soul Reset series. Over the past two weeks, we've navigated ways to reset your mind and body. Now, we’re turning our attention to the soul.

🌌 Reset your soul

Your soul is the essence of who you are, your clearest sense of purpose, and your source of true alignment. When we are disconnected from this element of our selves – our real selves – life can feel chaotic, disconnected, or directionless.

Being disconnected at the soul level is the source of a lot of our collective anxiety, worry and fear. Today, we’ll be walking through five key pillars to help you reset your soul connection, and to make sure that the next steps you take in life are in alignment with your highest path.

And remember: wellness is a mind-body-soul affair. You can eat well, exercise regularly, and meditate every day, but if you ignore your soul, disconnection and confusion will continue to pop up until you choose to stop ignoring them. Lasting fulfillment comes from nurturing all parts of yourself, and that is what it means to truly live well.

Let’s dive in.

  1. Conduct an energy audit ✨

The first step in this process is taking an honest look at your energy. Who and what in your life lights you up? What brings you down? Every interaction, habit, and conversation you have either adds to or drains your life force. It’s time to get real about what’s not serving you anymore.

Conducting an energy audit means identifying the people, habits, and thoughts that elevate you and those that deplete you. This practice of awareness is key to creating a life aligned with your higher self.

TAKE ACTION: Grab a journal (or your notes app) and start two lists: one for people, places and activities that raise your vibration (HIGH VIBE) and one for those that lower it (LOW VIBE).

Start setting boundaries with the energy-draining aspects of your life. Protect your energy with intention, and watch how life starts feeling lighter and more in-tune. If there are people on your low vibe list (and there will be), it doesn’t mean you need to confront them or formally end your friendship. It does mean you should start to be protective over the amount of time you spend with them and the types of activities you agree to engage in with them. There is nothing wrong with temporarily distancing yourself from someone or something if their energy is consistently bringing you down.

On the flip side, take a close look at your HIGH VIBE list. How can you pull more of these things into your daily, weekly and monthly routine?

  1. Connect to nature 🌿

As you start to clear away the negative, take time to reconnect with our greatest teacher. Nature is a universally healing force. It helps us ground our energy and regain perspective on the big picture in life.

Whether it’s a walk in the park, a swim in the ocean, or just sitting outside at night and really admiring the night sky, time in nature is a great reminder for us to slow down, breathe, and listen.

TAKE ACTION: Commit to spending at least 10 minutes in nature every day this week and take note of how you feel after.

  1. Talk to the source 🔮

Your soul is always connected to something larger—whether you prefer call it God, the Universe, or something else. A big part of resetting your soul connection is re-establishing that divine connection. This can be through meditation, prayer, or simply asking for the universe for guidance.

Ask to be shown the path forward. Signs and guidance often come in subtle ways—through intuitive feelings, signs and synchronicities, or unexpected opportunities that seem to emerge out of thin air. Trust that you’re always supported when you’re open to receiving.

TAKE ACTION: Set aside time each day to engage in conversation with your higher power. Ask for clarity and guidance on your next steps. Stay open to how that guidance shows up in your life.

  1. Reconnect with YOU 📝

A big part of this process is remembering who we really are. There are many tools that can be useful in this process, including personality tests, astrology and human design. But as always, the best place to start is within.

TAKE ACTION: If you feel inspired, grab a notebook and journal through a few of these prompts:

  • What did I love to do as a child, before any expectations or responsibilities shaped my path?

  • What activities or experiences make me lose track of time? Why do I think that is?

  • If I had no fear or limitations, what would my dream life look like? Really picture this in great detail. Where do you wake up, what do you see? Go through a full day in your absolute dream life.

  • What values are most important to me, and how do they show up in my everyday life? Am I currently living in alignment with these values? In what ways is my life currently misaligned with my values?

  • What strengths and unique gifts do I possess that I feel called to share with the world?

  • What would my life look like if I were fully living in alignment with my highest self?

  1. Engage with your subconscious 🌙

Your subconscious mind holds a lot of wisdom. By paying attention to your dreams, you can gain clarity on what your soul is processing and trying to communicate.

Dreams often reflect the deeper emotions, fears, and desires that your conscious mind hasn’t fully addressed. Engaging with your subconscious through dream analysis can offer surprisingly relevant insights. Dreams are usually symbolic, so it’s important not to read them literally. Rather, think about the overarching feelings and themes that are coming up and consider what messages they might contain for you on your journey.

TAKE ACTION: Before bed, set the intention to receive insights from your dreams. When you wake up, jot down any dream fragments you remember in your notes app. If you need help interpreting your dreams, try this ChatGPT prompt:

"Imagine you're my spiritual advisor. I'm going to give you some context about what's going on in my life currently, and then I'm going to share a dream I had last night. I want you to help me interpret the dream."

The soul reset is an ongoing practice of tuning in, releasing what no longer serves you, and embracing the guidance that is always within reach.
