3 habits to transform your mental & physical fitness

#6: biohacking, functional mushrooms & the most important thing you can do for longevity today

Big news: The Well Path Podcast is now live! Our first 3 episodes were chalk-full of insights and tips to help you accelerate your journey to feeling your absolute best, inside and out. Check us out wherever you get your podcasts (all platforms are linked here).

Here are 3 things you can do today to boost your longevity, activate flow state and feel unstoppable:

  1. Move. This sounds obvious, but it bears repeating. Move, daily. This doesn’t mean you have to spend an hour in the gym every day – even a 15 minute mat pilates workout, or a 30 minute walk around your neighborhood will do the trick. Everything is energy and if we allow energy to sit in our bodies with nowhere to go…it’s a recipe for explosion. Movement not only helps strengthen our bodies, it also boosts our mood.

  2. Start a contrast therapy routine. Contrast therapy refers to alternating heat therapy (like sauna) and cold therapy (like cold plunge). In our episode, Dr. Elie talk at length about the myriad health benefits of contrast therapy. On top of a host of science-backed physical benefits, it also just feels good.

  3. Swap your first coffee of the day for chaga. I LOVE coffee and I’m not a proponent of cutting caffeine out entirely, but there are benefits to waiting for your first cup and allowing your body to kickstart au natural. I’ve started taking a cup of Crystal Black from New Mind first thing in the morning and waiting until after my morning workout + breakfast to enjoy my first shot of espresso.
